Nostalgia 2018-2022
I started working on this series during my project photography course. Encouraged at the time by Robert Frank's The Americans, I decided to find my 83 basic images of contemporary Russia.
Now , having left my native country for an indefinite period of time because of the hostilities, and working on the study of the footage, I feel a sense of homesickness creeping into my reflections on the images I received.
The series was shot in Russian cities: St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Sochi, etc.
