A quite place 2022
I arrived in Minsk on business in early July of 2022, on the eve of the local holiday, Independence Day. A little less than two years had passed since the anti-government protests of 2020, and the city appeared calm and clean. It no longer gave the impression of a scene where for four months there had been an entire battle between protesters and the police.
